Director Julie Zhu is gearing up for the second season of her documentary series ‘Takeout Kids’, which premiered on August 20th, which has been in high demand since it burst onto the scene a few years ago.
According to the official synopsis: “An observational documentary series about the kids who grow up in takeaway shops and restaurants run by their parents. Five young people balance school and relationships while growing up in their family shops.”
In the new season, Priyan Patel, 5, helps out in his uncle’s Sandringham dairy and has his first week pf school in the latest season of the acclaimed documentary series that celebrates food and whanau.
