Bowl-a-rama is more like a week-long celebration of skateboard culture. Back for its third year, the festival kicks off on Wednesday 10 February with the Oakley ‘Love & Guts’ art show at Manky Chops Gallery, Cuba Street. Heats kick off from 5pm on Friday at the bowl. Finals take place the next day with all the world’s best bowl riders competing for the largest prize purse in New Zealand skating.
